Many of us have come across a statement invoice template and wonder what this is. This document format helps you to create invoices in a single file that will be very easy to deal with, not just your local company but globally as well.
A Statement Invoice Template enables you to come up with a document that has the correct details on every transaction. For example, in a previous article, I had mentioned an example invoice that was used by a company from New Zealand.
The type of invoice that they used was made up of three separate documents that can be sent across the Pacific. The first part of the invoice had a blank signature line on it that looked like this; “Please sign below, thanks for your business.” On this portion of the invoice, it also mentioned the name of the business and the address of the company.
The second part of the invoice had a receipt with the business name, address, and date that was required for the invoice to be valid. It also stated the amount due. Then there was also a statement at the end that read “Thank you for your time, may I have your phone number?”
So this invoice was sent over to the customer in New Zealand. When the customer opened the invoice to sign for the payment, he found the phone number on the bottom left-hand corner of the invoice and called the number that he had used. The gentleman at the other end of the line was delighted to hear from his customer and his face lit up as he did so.
From this business, a letter was written to the customer thanking him for his business and sending him a picture of the company’s name and address. The letter also included an invitation to visit the company’s website.
The reason that having an invoice template is useful is that it not only saves time, it also ensures that you are using a good quality template. The reason that we use templates is that a well-written document will have all the relevant details that are required. If you were to write this document yourself, you would have to prepare the contact details and the amount due.
