Great customer experience examples come from customer service. You are the one who comes in contact with the customer and if your service is good, your customer will be happier, or at least less stressed out. The good customer service example will make you feel good about your service.
Customer service has to be prompt. There should be an email response within a few minutes to even a few hours of having the customer to contact you. This is what I call quality customer service. If the customer is not happy with the service after a couple of hours, they are likely to click the mouse button and never contact you again. That’s the bottom line of good customer service.
Another good customer service example would be to make sure the employees clearly understand what the customer wants. Customers do not want to be confused, especially in the course of having the same discussion a few times. They just want it done right the first time. When the customer is clear about what they want and they can look forward to their next call, the customer is more satisfied. And satisfied customers will buy more of your product.
Many great customer experience examples come from the customer. You might think of a great service example from a customer. Such examples might include a thank you note, where the customer could have thanked the employee for giving them the ability to purchase the product. Or, there might be a helpful hint, or the customer is given a discount that’s worth more than the money spent by the customer has come back and purchased another product.
The customer is a very important part of any business, and the customer is important to the customer service as well. What about the customer is the best example? For example, if the customer has a question about the product or service, and the representative didn’t answer the question immediately, the customer gets angry, and usually leaves. The business will lose customers and not be able to continue to grow.
Customer service is important, because the business makes or breaks the customer. The business does not build its client base; the customer does. The customer has earned the right to enjoy the products and services, and the business does not earn any profits until the customer wants to purchase products or services from the business.
The next service example I’d like to give is a service example that includes the customer. I like to use this customer service example when I’m talking to new customers. Say for example, my uncle Michael (a customer) came into the store to shop for dog food. His dog, Benny, had to have a trip to the vet, and he was very upset because his money wasn’t going to the vet! He went around the dog food aisle and couldn’t find anything that would help him, so he walked out, started to cry, and told me “the best thing to do is go get that book I was talking about.”
It’s OK to be a good service representative, as long as you remember to act as if the customer is the boss, and it’s your job to make their needs better, and the needs of the business. How do you do that? You try to exceed the needs of the customer and not the needs of the business.
